Hey friends, I’m Jane!
I’m a Certified Personal Trainer from Northern Ireland & I’ve been working with women for the past 11+years helping them get started lifting weights, build a little strength & enjoy moving their bodies.
Other than in my garage gym, you’ll probably find me on a flight somewhere, adventuring in my campervan, spending time with my two Samoyed dogs or lounging on the sofa watching my favourite Netflix show – all whilst wearing a comfy outfit with a coffee in hand.
I created Strong With Jane as a space to share all the knowledge I have about strength training & movement with you that I’ve gained over the years. I really want to make fitness feel approachable, doable & show you that it doesn’t have to take over your life.
My approach & ethos is very much a ‘diet culture free’ one, meaning I won’t talk about fat loss or weight loss on this site. It’s just not my vibe. I want it to be a welcome space for all women, no matter our shape, size or current abilities.
Here you’ll find simple workouts to help you get stronger (not smaller), whether that’s at home or in a quiet corner of the gym. I’ll also be sharing useful exercise lists that will give you new ideas for your workouts, how to progress with certain exercises and how to modify exercises to meet you where you’re at.
It’s my mission to help you stop obsessing the number on the scales and instead start to appreciate your own body and be proud of what it can do for you!
